The last sunset of November; dramatic clouds and mist rolling down the canyon – certainly a beautiful way to end the month! I took another stab at HDR (High Dynamic Range), but I needed a couple more exposures to bring out the detail in the trees.

Confession: these were all edited to B&W…
My loyal guardian, happy to pose for me.
I was not expecting to find this lurking in at the edge of the mud puddle, with the tadpoles – I think he scared me more than I scared him. It was a pretty warm day, so maybe he was trying to cool off… or maybe frog meat was on the menu?
Almost walked into it 😉
And what would this be without an “old timey” bridge photo? This is the Oregon City bridge, over the Willamette, by the way.
See what the rest of the Sunday Stills gang is doing here!
This week’s challenge was Valentine’s Day!
This is made out of Good & Plenty candy. A bit lopsided, but oh well! I do a little bit of editing in our Kodak Easyshare software to give a more “cartoonish” look and bigger shadows. Here’s the original:
Happy Valentine’s Day!
This week’s assignment was fun and interesting one. It’s amazing all the things you change and do to a picture! I used a photo editing program called Photo Pos Pro, it’s free and pretty easy to use; I love it.
Super Sepia! I did a custom sepia, which allows you to choose how much sepia is used, and changed the saturation a little bit.
Changed the saturation to heavy on the red.
Metalized. This feature is really cool!
RGB -> BGR. I like this effect!
