Last night’s moon over the trees.

This week’s challenge was to shoot in the dark. Too many things to trip over outside so I decided to do a slightly different spin on the challenge and try my hand a long exposures in the house…
I used the desk as a tripod – please excuse the dust and boring subject matter – and set the exposure as long as it would go (15 sec). I forgot the change the white balance so it’s a little warm, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that I gotten the star effect.
It’s the middle of October and the strawberries are still going strong!
Last night’s full moon. A slightly different take on the challenge for this week – got a crazy idea in my head that the moon would make a good history subject… Also missed the lunar eclipse this morning, had the wrong time zone so instead of getting up at four, I got up at five thirty. =(
In the spirit (pun intended) of Halloween, this was just too good to pass up and not post!
This week’s challenge couldn’t have come at a better time! When I looked to see what the next challenge was last Sunday, I couldn’t been happier to see it was Halloween because I was going to a Rascal Flatts concert Friday night and I was pretty sure the backup band would dress up like they did every year during a show. I wasn’t disappointed!
This year they dressed up as Chewbaccas.
Scared, Jay? That’s just….Jonathan? I think. A great way to end the tour!
