Wow, I think this is the hardest challenge Ed has ever given us, at least for me. Only two pictures! I’ve taken so many photos during the year, and I have so many favorites! Due to the virus the computer got on Christmas Eve, all the pictures taken before that were on disc, so I didn’t have time to go through all of them, so I finally settled on these two, both from late in the year.
This probably one of my favorites of all the frosty barb wire that I’ve taken. It’s the desktop background, too!
I love love love this one. It’s one thing to get a really good picture of one hawk, but two, the other one swooping past, is pretty rare for a amateur photographer.
Yikes, I almost forgot about posting my pictures for the challenge!!!!!
English Muffins, a real delicacy around here. We usually make a double batch about once a year, sometime during the winter months. They’re so good that half of them are devoured before they are completely cool.
Pioneer Woman’s Pork Loin with Cranberry sauce. It was delicious! (Yes, we do have a thing for green dishes). I love the twist she put on the cranberry sauce by adding sautéed onions to it. When I first tasted it, I kind of didn’t like the taste, but then after a second taste, I was hooked. Mom wasn’t too keen on it, but aren’t mothers and their teenage daughters supposed to disagree?
Mmmmmm, cinnamon rolls!
First day of a new year! 2010! It’s going to take some getting used to writing/typing it. Missed the blue moon last night, it was so wet and cloudy. I was hoping there’s be a small break in the clouds, but no such luck. I was upset to miss the last Sunday Stills challenge of 2008, but the computer got a virus on Christmas Eve and we didn’t get it working correctly again until Monday, the 28th. I’m looking forward to this week’s challenge, though!
I have a feeling that this year’s going to be a good year!
