Fixing fence

Yesterday, we and dogs went over to the Fourteen Acre field and repaired fence.  After the big rain/wind storm the other day, quite a bit was tore down, but it didn’t take too long.

“Can I go with you guys to do fence? Please, please, please?”

The dogs had a blast; running all over the field sniffing hunting for field mice, and of course, keeping a watchful eye on us humans.

After the fence was all fixed, it was time to bring the cows up from the Down Below so that they would be near the corral, so that we could catch them easily today.  They don’t know it yet, but the boys are going to be walking a little stiffly for a few days…

    Does your dog bite?

  2. Love the way all your fields are named! I know that dog-look well, I get it every day when it’s time to go feed the horses!

  3. Sounds like a busy day … I could just picture the dogs romping in the field.

Gordon, Not unless you get too close…

Shirley, Yeah, we’re pretty imaginative when it comes to naming things…just kidding. Do they trudge with while you feed the horses?

Paula, They had a blast hunting and doing dog stuff.
